In follow-up to our informative webinar on Developing a Racially Diverse Medical Team, the PaACC is hosting a Question-and-Answer Forum to address challenging topics on Diversity in the Cardiovascular Workforce. This is particularly relevant as medical students and residents prepare for upcoming residency and fellowship applications.

We plan to address the following broad topic areas:

  • Implicit Bias
  • Intersectionality
  • Training for Underrepresented Minorities (URMs)
  • White privilege/White fragility
  • How to be an effective ally or upstander
  • Disparities in treatment of patients
  • Proposed solutions
