Education EMERGING FIELDS OF CARDIOLOGY SERIES: Sports CardiologyJoin us for an in-depth review of the new 2020 AHA/ACC guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY (HCM)! We will delve into this emerging field to explore one of the most common inherited cardiomyopathies, that has a reputation for being the most common cause of sudden cardiac death in young, healthy individuals! That said, we are increasingly diagnosing HCM in older patients with little disability. It is important for all cardiologists and cardiovascular team members, including sports cardiologists and anyone who cares for athletes and other highly active persons, to familiarize themselves with these new guidelines. An application has been made for CEU. Although there is no charge for this event for members, you will need to register in order to receive the Zoom link.
