Chapter Facts The Pennsylvania Chapter was developed in the late 1980's when the national ACC recognized a growing need for more local representation to state government, Medicare carriers, third party payers, and the private sector. Through meetings/seminars, newsletters and grassroots efforts, the Pennsylvania Chapter works to ensure a high level of professional visibility. The Chapter is represented through Medicare's Carrier Advisory Committee (CAC), the Pennsylvania Medical Society's Specialty Leadership Cabinet. Mission
The Pennsylvania Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (PaACC) will promote the highest quality of cardiovascular care, advocate for cardiovascular professionals and patients, improve personal and population-based cardiovascular health, and encourage collaboration amongst its members.
